Our policies in this area are aimed at maintaining a safe, secure and low stress environment for children and staff alike. Parents are always consulted if staff feel that children are exhibiting inappropriate behaviour. Appropriate behaviour is always modelled and every effort is made to highlight the intrinsic rewards of appropriate behaviour.
Children’s behaviour is never modified by the use of corporal punishment, humiliation or other psychological punishments.
